Dr. Olufemi Ladeinde

Medical Practitioner & Nutritional Consultant and Trainee.

Dr. Olufemi Ladeinde brings over four decades of medical experience to his practice as a nutritional consultant. A graduate of the University of Ibadan Medical School (1978), he trained in surgery at Guy's Hospital, London, before beginning his career in sports medicine — serving on the Nigerian Olympic medical team at the 1980 Moscow Games, where he oversaw the fitness of the national football team, the Green Eagles.

He went on to practice at County Hospital, Ikeja, before founding Family Medical Centre in 1985, which he grew into a two-clinic, 20-bed hospital over eight years. A return to the UK in the early 1990s led him to question the limits of symptom-focused, orthodox medicine — a turning point that set him on a new path.

In 1995, Dr. Ladeinde began studying nutritional medicine at the Plaskett Nutritional Medicine College and the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London. Since then, he has developed a wellness philosophy centred on prevention rather than cure, believing the body — when properly supported — can heal and repair itself well into later life. His current focus includes applying nutritional strategies to paediatric and oncology care.

Known for translating complex medical concepts into plain, accessible language, Dr. Ladeinde helps patients understand not just what is happening in their bodies, but why — empowering them to take meaningful action toward lasting health.
